Hello! My name is Darcy, and I am a Multimedia Technician from Pennsylvania. I graduated from Millersville University in 2022 with a B. A in Entertainment Technology focusing theatrical entertainment systems, broadcast technology, and the creative applications of emergent technology (VR, mocap, etc.). I specialize in live studio production, camera operation and post-production editing!
During my time in university I worked with the television/broadcast organization MUTV as Treasurer, Technical Director and Producer on one of our productions, Plugged In.
In 2021, I became a Creative Director and Media Producer for Finish Strong Fitness, a local Pennsylvanian bodybuilding brand. During my time with FSF I had managed to produce enough content to create a local impact within the greater Lancaster area, and even developed content for the NPC Pennsylvania Muscle Show in the process.
In 2023, I started my time at Disney Cruise Line as a Broadcast Technician, further cementing my step into video production and broadcast television. Managing IPTV servers, operating PTZ cameras for live stage shows, and producing daily morning shows are just some of the technical aspects I’ve been privy to during my tenure here.In 2024, I stepped into the role of Senior Broadcast Technician for DCL. Some accolades for my time with DCL at this time include being a part of the opening teams for both the Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny, camera operating for The Muppet Show onboard, and filming production B-Roll for the Nat Geo documentary “The Making of the Disney Treasure”. At the start of 2025, I joined with ESPN, ABC & Disney Streaming Technology as a Network Operator.
I am an innovative team player with a well-rounded set of skills. I have a respectable amount of functional knowledge in all aspects of theatre and broadcast production. I enjoy taking advantage of new opportunities to add more creative skills to my skillset!
